Hi loves! I went to a planning craft session at my local Michael's today. It was a lot of fun! We made a dashboard (which I'll show you in my next planner related post), and I met some really lovely ladies who's planners looked so amazing and creative! I didn't bring all of my planner goodies with me, but next month I definitely will be!

However, I realized I've never fully shared a lot of my planner on my blog, even though it literally runs my day-to-day life and I can't imagine being without it. So, I figured I'd start off with a brief introduction to my planner and in the future, maybe do a plan with me (PWM, for short).

Hi loves ♥

I can't believe we are halfway through July! Since relocating to Colorado, everything seems to start early and end early- school is no exception. Since I am a nanny to my cousins, I'm hyper-aware of when school starts- we only have a month left until they go back! I feel like they just got out of school. However, since going back to school season will be upon my family soon, I've gotten into the idea that a few back to school posts wouldn't go amiss here or there.

Today, I was perusing my local Target (surprise, right?), and I couldn't help but see things like planners, pencil pouches, and backpacks being displayed front and center. This got me thinking- what would I do to jazz up my school supplies, and more importantly- what would I bring with me to school?

Hi everyone!

As you know, I've moved to Colorado from Washington, and I dearly miss my friends and family. Although we are connected by the internet and talk daily, I still miss my best friends Reida and Jordan.

I used to see Jordan daily (we worked together) and Reida around twice a month- so I really do miss them!

Luckily, I found a cheap and easy way to keep their beautiful faces around me all the time- a cheap, easy, double-sided picture keychain!

Aside from this being ridiculously easy and cheap, this will not only make a great memento, but a great gift!

Wet n' Wild Liquid Catsuit Review

Hi again! Today I'm bringing you a review of some liquid lipsticks I've had for a while, and even took pictures of for this review long ago. Just never got around to editing and posting them, I suppose! Since I'm trying to blog more, I hope y'all don't mind me sharing this older review + swatches (my opinions on the products still stand!)

I'm a huge lover of affordable drugstore makeup, especially since drugstores have been really upping their game recently in the quality of their cosmetic products! Wet n' Wild has always been a huge fave of mine, and they're also cruelty-free, trendy, and have increased their product range like crazy recently! What a plus ♥

So when I saw these liquid lipsticks, I couldn't resist picking a few up!

5 MUAs That Inspire Me

Hi everyone! I have recently begun to dabble in trying to be more creative with my makeup looks. Former looks I have done have included these...

This post is so long over-due, I'm almost hesitant to post it, but I figured I might as well since this will be a good way for me to look back on my trip with Reida and my beautiful friends as much as possible!

For those of you who didn't know, I went to Japan for 2 weeks to celebrate the GazettE's 15th Anniversary and my 21st birthday! It was honestly so much fun and even though it was stressful in the beginning, it got a lot better at the end and I was reminded why I love Japan and have it as my future goal to move there and possibly start a career one day!

But enough of that rambling and time for just a long photo dump. Some of the photos were taken by Reida too, who let me use them.

I'm attending Denver's Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend and since my yukata is out of commission, the best I can do is just try to incorporate as many of my yukata accessories into my outfits for the weekend. Of course, I want to flex my gyaru makeup and hair muscles as they've sat in the dust for a little too long!

Yeah, it happened again- I disappeared for more than a few weeks. It's actually been a few months.

Here's a quick low-down on what's happened in my life:

- went to Japan for 2 weeks in March, and had a truly amazing time
- made the huge decision to move to Colorado
- moved to Colorado
- been here for one month
- a lot has happened (already!)

A lot.

Anyways, I can definitely say the first few months of being 21 have been interesting so far (oh, yeah- I turned 21 while I was in Japan, haha!).

So what have I been up to in my day-to-day life?

Colourpop Custom Palette Review + Swatches

Hi everyone! Sorry for my sudden absence from blogging for a bit. Life just gets in the way and I was getting overwhelmed from no posts to suddenly posting 3x a week. Weak, I know, but the travel posts are being interrupted for now for a quick review on some beautiful Colourpop items I bought a bit ago.

Free Packing Checklist for a Vacation Abroad!

Hi loves! Sorry this post is not at my usual time of 7am PST. Things happened and I've been so tired because I'm working so hard to prepare for my trip to Japan! I've bought a great little suitcase, carry-on, as well as a few items for my trip and I'm ready to enter into the pre-packing stage I typically go through.

Since next week is going to be full of pre-packing business, I figured I'd include a quick, free, printable packing list so that you can follow along next week as I take you through my personal steps to packing an organized and stylish suitcase for a trip abroad!

Stay tuned for next week, and feel free to tweet me (@kyasedi) as you follow along!

7 Easy Ways to Save Money While Traveling

So you've bought the plane tickets, you booked the hotel, and you've got a few attractions planned out- so now your wallet is looking a little starved and you wouldn't mind saving a few pennies! I've got a few tips on ways to save money while traveling for you!

Top 10 Essential Words/Phrases for Travelers in Japan

Hello! Or I could say おはようございます、こんにちは、or こんばんわ depending on what timezone you're in! I know people regard konnichiwa as the standard greeting, but I think it's nice to personalize it to wherever you are ♥

So you clicked on this post and are wondering a few things, such as:

- what are some essential traveler words for Japan?
- will there be any listed that I may not know?
- does it matter if I can't speak Japanese when I'm in Japan?

Let's start with the last question first (so random, I know)- Does it matter if you can't speak Japanese when you're in Japan?

If, for some reason, Japanese just doesn't come to your or you can't bother yourself to learn it, don't worry! Japan is actually a very English friendly place (I'm assuming you comprehend English to some point if you're reading this), and is increasing it's English friendly-ness all the time!

You'll find the street signs are in English, and depending on the demographics of the tourists, you may even see Russian (I saw this a lot in Kyoto), Chinese, and Korean.

So if you can't read kanji, or a lick of Japanese, there's a good chance you'll still be able to get around.
However, I find learning a few words of the native language to be a sign of respect to the people who live in the country you're visiting. Not everyone is going to know your language, and since you're in a foreign area, it's definitely worth your while to learn at least a few words.

February Theme - Travel Prep!

Hi everyone ♥

I think I may have mentioned it here, or not, but in March I'll be going to Japan for 2 weeks with my bestie, Reida. Since it's February 1st, that means I only have 34 days till I leave!

2017 Planner - Happy Planner

Hi there! I decided today's blog post would be on something I've been pretty passionate about for the past half year- planning! About one year ago, I bought my first Happy Planner, and I didn't really use it at first because it was more of an impulse buy at the time. Then, I started realizing the value of having a planner that I liked to decorate and make pretty. I previously used a super cute purple Rilakkuma planner, but then I filled it all up and the local Korean store I bought from wasn't selling it anymore.

I've been using planners ever since I was first introduced and assigned to use them in middle school... If only my teachers knew what a creative outlet and tool they handed me on the first day of 6th grade.

Christmas 2016 Haul

First and foremost, Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful start to their new year. I can say I was a bum at home, watching Return of Superman, and the only celebration I really did was kissing my boyfriend at 12am haha. Anyways, let's move on to a few of the gifts I got for Christmas ♥
