SEPTEMBER FAVES | 2017

Hello all! Last September, I did my first ever monthly faves post.... And subsequently did not make another at all till now, one year later! Last year, September was such a hard month for me, for reasons I'll go into later in another blog post. This year, September was hard again, but there were certain things that really got me through it all!

1. Rosehip Facial Oil...
It has completely changed so many aspects of my skincare and beauty routine. My skin is smoother and its multi-use as in I can use it to help sculpt my brows, thin out thicker concealer when needed, and add radiance and a dewy look to my foundation. Many people are using serums for this, but I found with my skin type, this oil has been perfect for a myriad of purposes!

2. Lust for Life by Lana Del Rey....
This has been on non stop repeat since she released it in August. 13 Beaches has been such a Mood song for me. I don't buy albums often due to music streaming services, but this one came with this poster, so I had to get it!
I'm not sure I'll be able to go to her concert in January, but I'll definitely make it a priority next time!

3. Spending time with my grandma...
I ended up staying at my grandma's house in Idaho for an extra seven days, and let me tell you, those were days of healing and pure happiness. I am missing her terribly, but I'll be going back in May to live with her for a while longer!

4. Conair True Glow Face Brush...
My skin suffered a breakout after I returned from my grandma's house. Dedicated use of my battery operated face brush helped to really get rid of dead skin cells and take the gunk out of my pores. I recently switched up my skin care routine, so I'm sure that's why I broke out at first, but I really feel the brush helped to really slough away the gross stuff on my face! You can get this brush here- it's cheap and doesn't need the batteries changed often! True Glow by Conair Battery Operated Cleansing & Beauty Kit

5. Bumblebee Coin Purse...
I don't keep coins in this! I actually keep a ton of hair ties in it, solely. Nothing else goes into this cute little coin purse. I'm always finding myself needing a hair tie and when I saw this adorable lil guy at Target for only $6-7, I knew he had to be mine- especially with the stud detail for a stinger! What an adorable companion for Kumakai-san ♥

What faves did you have during September?
